Getting Started with Eudora Pro

• Operating System: Windows 95/98/2000 or XP

• Application: Eudora Pro

• Application Version: 4.0x

1. open Eudora Pro
2. From the Tools menu select Options.
   
   
   
3. Select Personal Info in the Category box.
4. Enter Your Name in the "Your Name" text box.
5. Enter you Email Address in the "Return Address" text box.
   (Important Note: The return addres may not be username@gv.net
   If you were assigned a username and selected an Alias, then
   enter alias@gv.net)
6. Enter mail.gv.net in the "Mail Server (incoming)" text box.
7. Enter your Username@gv.net in the "Login Name" text box.
   
   

1. Select "Checking Mail" in the Category box.
2. Enter mail.gv.net in the "Mail Server" text box.
3. Enter your Username in the "Login Name" text box.
   
   
   
4. Select "Incoming Mail" in the Category box.
5. Select POP
6. Uncheck "Leave mail on server"
7. Nothing else should be selected or checked except "Passwords"
   
   
   
8. Now select "Sending Mail"
9. Make sure that you return address is correct.
10. Enter smtp.gv.net in the "SMTP server" text box.
11. Click OK. You're finished!
