"This program has performed an illegal operation"

Possible causes:

  1. Applications such as Netscape or Eudora have become corrupt and unstable

  2. Application uses more memory (RAM) than available

  3. Windows system files corrupt


Solutions:

  1. Re-load the application

    If the problem is persistant, re-load the application.  It may be necessary to erase the files associated with the old application.

  2. Upgrade memory if you suspect too little memory

  3. Re-load Windows if step 1 or 2 does not solve problem

    In some cases, reloading Windows is the only solution.
