How to Setup a Second Copy of Eudora Mail

1.  Go to a DOS prompt and change to your gvnet directory.

a.  In Window 3.1, type:  cd \gvnet31

b.  In Windows 95, type:  cd \gvnet

2.  Create a new directory for the new copy of Eudora.

a.  Type:  md kathy

b.   Substitute the name of your new user with "kathy" in each of the    examples above, and below.

3.  Copy all the files from Eudora to that new directory.

4.  Type:  copy eudora kathy

5.  Return to windows and create a new icon for the new user.

A.  Windows 3.1

  1. open the GVNET TOOLKIT window.

  2. goto FILE, NEW, PROGRAM ITEM, BROWSE.
    Browse and find the new copy of Eudora to create a new icon.   It will read,  C:\gvnet31\kathy\eudora.exe

  3. Rename it to identify it for the new user.

B.  Windows 95

  1. select FILE, NEW, SHORTCUT. BROWSE

  2. Find the new copy of Eudora

  3. Select it for the new shortcut. C:\gvnet\kathy\eudora.exe


6.  Open the new copy of Eudora

7.  Select SPECIAL, CONFIGURATION.

8.  Configure the program for the new user.
