Most gv.net customers have WS_FTP in their Internet program group.

If you don't have it, you can download WS_FTP from ftp2.gv.net,
using a browser like Netscape.

1.  In WS_FTP, you will need to create a profile for www.gv.net

1. The fields are as follows:

1. Profile name   : www.gv.net

2. Host name      : www.gv.net

3. host type         : auto

4. userID             : [yourlogin]

5. password         : [your password]

2. Initial Directories:

1. Remote host    : webpage

2. Local PC         : [where your html files are in your PC]
   
   Note: Where fields are enclosed in brackets [ ] above, fill in your actual login, password, directory.

2.  First, dialup gv.net, and go to WS_FTP. Then, after filling in the
above profile, click on OK. You will connect momentarily. Verify
that you are in the correct directory for both the remote host and
the local PC. If not, change to the proper directories.

3.  Next, highlight the files you want transferred, and click on the
right-pointing arrow in the center between the two windows. Your
transfer will begin.
